Google: crypto are not real money

In the advertisement for the next service of the largest search engine, cryptocurrencies are mentioned as the reason for the high costs of electricity and “unreal money”. However, it is said that mentions in any context from the point of view of advertising are already good.

The relationship between the largest search engine and cryptocurrency simplicity does not differ. At first, Google forbade advertising cryptocurrency, which was recognized as a rather alarming signal for the market. Then – allowed, but not everywhere and with a number of reservations. In particular, the search giant has promised that it will advertise crypto exchanges, but only regulated, and only in the United States and in Japan.

At the same time, the frequency of requests to Google is considered one of the indicators of public interest in cryptocurrencies, and a forerunner of the future growth rate of Bitcoin, although this is not accurate at the moment.

Finally, cryptocurrencies have received a special mention in the advertisement for the new Google Call Screen service, although more likely in a humorous way. That is, on the one hand, the search engine recognizes cryptocurrencies as one of the realities of the modern world, well known to the viewer. On the other hand, it is not ready to take them seriously and does not advise to use them.

The video explains the benefits of the service – before answering the phone call, the user sees on the screen of his Google Pixel 3 smartphone an alert about who is calling him and for what reason.

Roller characters discuss a call from an electricity billing company. “Mining cryptocurrency causes a lot of energy, but this is not real money,” the advertising heroes make a profound conclusion.
